Rocky Mountain Appliance Solutions (“RMAS”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and your rights regarding that information. I keep things simple. Your data is used only to help get your appliance fixed.
Information I Collect
When you submit a service request through my contact form, I collect the following information:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The type of appliance needing repair
- A description of the issue
I do not collect payment information, browsing history, or any information beyond what you voluntarily provide in the form.
How I Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely to respond to your service request. Specifically, I use it to:
- Contact you to schedule or discuss your repair
- Understand the nature of the appliance problem
I will not use your phone number or contact information for marketing, promotions, or any purpose unrelated to your service request.
Data Sharing
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data stays with RMAS and is used only by me to follow up on your service request.
How Form Submissions Are Processed
When you submit the contact form, your information is sent as an email notification to RMAS using a secure email delivery service (Resend). No personal data from your submission is stored in a database on my servers beyond that email delivery.
To protect against spam and bot submissions, I use a honeypot technique (a hidden form field) and rate limiting (limiting submissions per IP address per hour). These measures do not involve storing any personal data.
Cookies and Tracking
This website may use Google Analytics to understand site traffic in aggregate (for example, how many visitors arrive from search). This data is anonymized and does not personally identify you. I do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
Your Rights
You have the right to ask what information I hold about you and to request its deletion. Since I do not store form submissions in a database, the only record I hold is in my email inbox. To request removal, simply contact me directly.
