Tub bearing failure is a known issue on the Whirlpool Cabrio, Maytag Bravos, and Kenmore Oasis direct-drive platform and usually means a bearing and seal kit installed with a bearing press. Duet and Maxima front-loaders commonly throw F21 or F9E1 drain faults from coins and pet hair caught in the pump. If you own a Samsung top-load VRT washer built before 2016, check the CPSC recall list at cpsc.gov before calling anyone out, yours may be covered.

There is a small access panel at the front bottom. Place a shallow pan to catch water, unscrew the filter slowly, and pull out coins, hair ties, and lint. Every 3 to 6 months is the right interval.
Washers will not start unless the latch is fully engaged. A worn strike plate or bent hinge can require a firmer push than usual.
For walking or shaking, spread the load evenly, put a bubble level on the top, and confirm all four feet are locked.
Turn off hot and cold supply valves, unscrew the fill hoses at the machine, and rinse the small mesh screens in the inlet ports. Hard-water scale clogs them over time.
Use affresh or bleach. Leave the door cracked open between loads so the gasket dries. Wipe the door gasket with a towel. Use only HE detergent, and less of it.
